Ngurraga school accepts enrolment of students between the age of five and eighteen years. Eligibility for enrolment is determined by an educational psychology assessment which measures a student’s IQ. We are a ‘specialist school’ for children whose IQ score is 70 or below. If your child does not meet this requirement they will be unable to enroll at Ngurraga School.

Our maximum enrolment number is 168 and this will build over the first few years of operation. Enrolments are determined by meeting the requirements and a priority placement system, based on our enrolment policy. This policy is available on this website.

For your child to enroll at Ngurraga school:

STEP 1
You will need to arrange for your child to have a cognitive assessment. This can take up to 10 weeks, so the earlier you begin this process, the better.
