The Humanities curriculum invites students to explore both the past and the world around them in ways that are meaningful and accessible. In History, students learn about people, places, and events, building an understanding of their own stories and how communities change over time. In Geography, students investigate their local environment, explore maps and places, and develop a sense of connection to the wider world. Learning is hands-on, practical, and adapted to meet each child’s needs, with a strong focus on curiosity, communication, and making real-life connections. By combining History and Geography, we support our students to develop a sense of identity, belonging, and independence in their everyday lives and communities.
